Almost Due Date!

So, my instruional design plan is due this Thursday, and I really feel that I have a better understanding of the whole purpose of this assignment. In the beginning I was very confused about alot of aspects that went into this assignment. The class discussions and overview of all of the information has been very helpful for me to figure out a detailed outline and the corrections that needed to be made to my draft. This class has been very differnt from all of my other classes but this particular assignment I feel will help me in the future if I ever come across something that needs to be revised or improved.

Lab Day

Having a lab day really helped me organize all of my thoughts and ideas that I had been questioning. I think it will be much easier now for me to make the changes that I need to my Instructional Design plan. I also think this is a great way to have one on one time and no be pressured for time while asking questions and leaves the door open for communication. I think this is defiantly something that should be considered for class in the future as it was a huge help for me.

Goals and objectives

Goals: to shorten the amount of time new peers spend in a classroom being nationally certified

Objectives: students will be able to:
-retain the given information of the modules presented by presenting the different modules in pairs or groups depending on class size
-successfully facilitate not only the modules but programs in Reach outside of the classroom
-broaden and learn new skills needed to be a Reach peer educator

Ways to asses: The different ways that I would assess the work that the new peers were completing and what knowledge they gained from the course would be to do a pre and post test.
